Hospital Staff
Hospital manager / supervisor Jessica McCray has been part of the Abingdon Square Veterinary Clinic staff since 2005. She loves being part of the friendly, caring staff and appreciates the excellent medical care and family-like atmosphere at the hospital. Going to concerts, watching movies, listening to music and dancing are among her many hobbies. Jessica is also a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Detroit Pistons. She shares her home with four cats, Kirby Fritz von Gunther, Tweetie Aurora Jean-Baptiste, Dennis "The Digger" Van Prague and Steffie.
Hilda Laszlo joined the Abingdon Square Veterinary Clinic staff in 2002. She is proud of the high-quality care pets receive at the hospital and loves working with animals. Hilda shares her home with a cat named Jacques, a dog named Joey and a bearded dragon. Outside the hospital, she enjoys gardening, decorating her home, swimming, baking and spending time with her family and pets.
A veterinary technician at Abingdon Square Veterinary Clinic since 2004, Isaura Cruz is in the process of becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She loves working with the friendly, caring staff and enjoys helping care for all the pets that come into the hospital each day. In her spare time, Isaura enjoys going to the movies, reading, listening to music, playing video games and hanging out with her dogs, a pair of Bichon Frise named Precious and Suki. She also shares her home with two lovebirds, Thelma and Louise, and a Betta fish named Blue.
Receptionist and veterinary assistant Jackie Lapertosa has a wide range of experience working different types of veterinary establishments, including a not-for-profit clinic, a small private practice and a large emergency and specialty care hospital. Happy to participate in the care of Abingdon Square Veterinary Clinic's patients, Jackie and her husband are proud parents to a family of cats and their dog, Petey. Jackie is an expert cook in her native cuisine of France and, of course, speaks French fluently.
